Carriage paid orders over £75.00 + vat and include next day delivery Monday to Friday through our chosen courier partner. Cut off for next day delivery on orders received before 3pm, orders received after this time will be processed the following working day. Smaller orders will be shipped via Royal Mail 2nd class signed for service. Orders under £75.00 + vat will be calculated and charged based on weight. We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. If you are outside the UK and are having problems please contact a member of the team and we will assist you.
You may return new, unopened, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). All items returned after 30 days of delivery will incur a 15% restocking fee. Products returned damaged, faulty, without the original packaging or in an unsellable state will not be refunded. If the products delivered by us are not on first appearance in conformity with any agreement, the Buyer is bound to notify us immediately upon delivery and to note the defects discovered on the transport document/packing list to be signed upon receipt. Complaints relating to defects which are not visible upon delivery must be made immediately after the Buyer has observed these defects or could reasonably have observed these defects, but at the latest 30 days after delivery. Failure to notify us of a complaint within the timescale above will result in the products being deemed unconditionally accepted.
Products that are covered with a lifetime guarantee are subject to the following if they break or fail under normal use:
• Covers all of the products where a lifetime guarantee is applicable e.g Chicago Brand open end ratchet spanners
• Applies without limitations in the event of any defects in material or manufacturing and includes moving parts
• Gives the right to exchange for a new or equal tool from the current range
• Applies for an unlimited time, even without a receipt
• Gives you the customer further assurance of quality, beyond normal rights to claim
Products that are returned as faulty, damaged or broken due to normal use will be inspected and/or sent off for testing. Products that are deemed in our opinion or the opinion of those testing to have been abused or mis-used will not be covered or replaced. Normal use means using the product as it was solely intended for and not for any other purpose than what it was designed for. One example is the spanners should not be used with “cheater” bars for extra leverage or struck with a hammer to aid with the tightening or loosening of fasteners.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). You should expect to receive a replacement for any faulty or broken product that has failed under normal use within 7 days of us receiving the faulty item.
